Although I'm not into modelling myself, I was thinking it might be a good idea if I put a page together listing existing and ongoing SMJR layouts as a reference source, a bit like I've done with books & magazine articles. I would include name of layout, club or individual owner, gauge and stage in construction. What do SMJR modellers think, would this be useful or not?

Good idea.
Give me the push to actually gat started building the model!!
Would be useful for exhibition organisers and to promote the SMJ.
I'd be interested to know how many there are.
One of the best I've seen is Towcester set in the 1970s. Yes 1970s - it's a 'what might have been' layout.
Here's some pics:-
The Leamington and Warwick Model Railway Society plan to create an N gauge model of Kineton Station, post 1920s. Lots of research is current taking place and the team are currently at the advanced planning stage.
I am also looking at the possibilities of creating an earlier (pre 1st World War) N gauge model of Kineton, but as there are no 'off the shelf' SMJ loco's and rolling stock available, almost everything will need to be scratch built, so plans for this are in the balance.
Any images or info on Kineton would be greatly welcomed.
Hi from Belgium
I’m modeling the Fenny Compton station as well Clifford sidings in OO gauge
The period is 1920 > 30 allowing me to run the SMJR locos as well as the early LMS models
