‘The Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway’ (or S.M.J.) was a small independent railway company which ran a line across the empty, untouched centre of England. It visited the counties of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and a little of Buckinghamshire, only existing as the SMJ from 1909 to 1923. In 1923 the S.M.J.became a minor arm of the London Midland and Scottish (L.M.S.), then in 1948 'British Railways'

Another length of bullhead rail sitting right on top of the 5' 0" brick culvert after bridge 150 on the Towcester to Ravenstone Wood line. Photo as below, directions given by R. Woods. Has probably lain undiscovered for decades.

There's also a length of track strewn on the west side of the embankment just south of the site of Bridge 150. Had a little exploration there yesterday evening (16th). It can be found level with the culvert running under the trackbed. But don't fall in though, as the embankment goes straight over the culvert, leading to a drop into the stream.
