‘The Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway’ (or S.M.J.) was a small independent railway company which ran a line across the empty, untouched centre of England. It visited the counties of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and a little of Buckinghamshire, only existing as the SMJ from 1909 to 1923. In 1923 the S.M.J.became a minor arm of the London Midland and Scottish (L.M.S.), then in 1948 'British Railways'

Fantastic model, I was at the Warley show yesterday, but missed this.The kit was made by Colin Flannery, he only made 50 of them - I believe they are all sold.
I actually have one of them for my O gauge model of Blisworth, but I am still aquiring the skills to build it though!

He took the roof off to show me the interior complete with passengers and ticket collector/ guard. Unfortunately the camera I took with me was not up to the job and the picture I took showing that was too blurred to put on the website.
