‘The Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway’ (or S.M.J.) was a small independent railway company which ran a line across the empty, untouched centre of England. It visited the counties of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and a little of Buckinghamshire, only existing as the SMJ from 1909 to 1923. I have pulled the negative out of the file and can confirm that the closer from view of the engine clearly show shed code plate carrying the code '1E' I think that is Bletchley?? Anyway it isn't Chester nor Carnforth but LMR London Division. So - another mystery.

Well - that being so, it isn't surprising that I do not recognise the line. Needs to ask some-one from that part of the world. I have a chap in mind - started his footplate career at Wrexham - he might recognise. Watch this space.

I've found that 75034 was allocated to Chester in 1960 if that's any help. might explain the WR coaches.

This is NOT KIneton. It is a pair with the other one showing 75034. The signal box name is quite lengthy. I have tried enlarging at hi-res but the name is too far away and therefore too out of focus to i-d. Maybe some-one knows where?
