‘The Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway’ (or S.M.J.) was a small independent railway company which ran a line across the empty, untouched centre of England. It visited the counties of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and a little of Buckinghamshire, only existing as the SMJ from 1909 to 1923. In 1923 the S.M.J.became a minor arm of the London Midland and Scottish (L.M.S.), then in 1948 'British Railways'

A trace from the Beyer Peacock Archive Drawing. Dated 1880, this is E&WJR No 2, later SMJ No 2A and LMS 2300. Details of the brakes have been ommitted from the drawing. The original drawing is scled at 10mm/1 foot.

The details in the MOSI search engine for this are:
Collection: Beyer, Peacock & Co. Ltd
Object summary: General arrangement drawing of East & West Junction Railway '0-6-0' locomotive
Order No 6021
Name of Draughtsman: Fox
Registration number: A1966.24/MS0001/3/31047

This produces a thunmbnail image, click on this get an image at 23%, which can be resized.
The URL, assuming I can get this to work properly, is:
http://emu.msim.org.uk/htmlmn/web/pages/common/imagedisplay_mosi.ph...

The MOSI search engine is not the easiest to use, and there is facility to order things (as far as I could tell) by, say, order number or date.
