Hello Andy and Peter
I read your E-mail with interest
It is quite normal to pay for the costs of a club activity and will readily contribute but have some queries.
1 The cost requested by the site's hosts seems quite high at £45 a month. I take care of a photo club in Belgium and we have a cost free website of very high quality, please have a look: http://photoclubrebecq.be/spip/?lang=fr
All you need is a competent and reliable web master.
2 You give a cost price of £45 a month I.E. £540 per annum but, if my information is correct, the SMJR society has 311 members which at £10 each works out at £3 110.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Best regards
Jack
Hi, I am happy to pay a cost towards the up keep
Andy,
I did reply elsewhere that I would subscribe but note comments above.
I also asked if you could email me as I wanted to contact you by email re the Northamptonshire Heritage Strategy. I consider railways are a very significant part of the county's heritage and should be acknowledged as such. I have traied emailing yu but it appears I do not have the correct address.
My email is:- davensal@hywd1.fsnet.co.uk
