‘The Stratford Upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway’ (or S.M.J.) was a small independent railway company which ran a line across the empty, untouched centre of England. It visited the counties of Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and a little of Buckinghamshire, only existing as the SMJ from 1909 to 1923. In 1923 the S.M.J.became a minor arm of the London Midland and Scottish (L.M.S.), then in 1948 'British Railways'

Heading south from Staverton Road box the structures were bridge over A425, the now demolished Staverton viaduct, the three arch overbridge that can be seen in the photo, Catesby viaduct that carried the GC over the infant river Leam then a now demolished plate girder underbidge leading to another three arch overbridge before reaching the north portal of Catesby tunnel.

I'd say it is Staverton Viaduct and the train is heading south towards Catesby viaduct..

Bit confused as to this one, I don't think this is Helmdon as the bridge that the train is about to go under doesnt exist?
